Hola from Mexico! Happy Easter!

HE IS RISEN!

The team of 30+ students and leaders from Olds Koinonia Christian School has safely arrived here in Hermosillo for an exciting week of ministry! Please pray for health and safety for us all as the action is non-stop, but most of all please pray for God’s miraculous, saving and sanctifying grace to work powerfully by His Holy Spirit in us and in all who hear the Gospel proclaimed! Jesus lived, died and resurrected to save us!

The Canadian team and our Mexican team will be ministering together in many contexts (children’s VBS style clubs, sports outreach, art camp, ministry to one of the poorest indigenous people groups in Mexico, church services, children’s home and more.) We will also be spending much time in devotional moments, prayer and praise and worship. May God work in all of our hearts.

On a family note, we are very excited to have our daughter Annelise here on the team! We’ve missed her so much as she has been studying since January at Koinonia.

Thank you all for being a real, active and crucial part of this ministry through your prayers! May the Holy Spirit remind you often to pray over the coming days.
