October 23 & 24 was an amazing weekend! Saturday night Shelli and I hosted a fireside meeting “Remembering Missionsâ€Â – the heart of Arbol de Vida – a church started by missionaries that has become a sending church! 100 people came out to reminisce, listen, share, sing and be challenged to respond to the need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our world with the words “Here I am, send me!†(photo below)
Sunday morning we celebrated the 25+1 anniversary as a church!  The “+1†is because the pandemic didn’t let us put on a big fiesta last year. Founding missionaries Steve and Myra attended and Steve brought the challenge for the future vision of a church that has a passion for missions (photo below).  The new sanctuary was also dedicated to God’s glory! (ribbon-cutting photo above) I have to pinch myself as I have seriously dreamt about this day for 20 years! God is faithful and good! Many of you have heard me dream out loud over those 20 years and have been part of what God has done through your prayers, giving and coming down to help. God bless you!!!
