Cena de Amistad (Friendship Supper)
Last night the Arbol de Vida church held our annual Cena de Amistad which is an opportunity for our congregation to invite family, neighbors, co-workers to have a great evening of fun and most importantly to hear the Gospel. We always have a lot of fun and laughter, music and God has always provided for a message that meets the spiritual needs in the group. 
Here you can see one of the games where the men are digging through whipping cream with their mouth to find a chocolate. Everyone forced Shelli to demonstrate first and I gave her a little extra “help” which ended up all over Shelli’s face. I then paid for the “help” with a creamy kiss (unsolicited, I might add) on my face. 
It made the whole thing a little more interesting anyway…
Our awesome youth also provided some great music. 
The purpose of the night is invite new people. We emphasize that this supper is not for friends from other churches. As a result we saw about 20 invited guests from no religious background or other religious backgrounds. 6 people responded to the invitation to receive Christ!!! Other great news happened in the morning service where I prayed with two teens to receive Christ after the service! Please pray for these new family members, that they would start growing right away in their new faith, that they would take the first step of obedience in baptism soon and that there would be much fruit produced in their lives.
What exciting times we live in! God is at work and it is a privilege to be part of it! Thank you for your prayers!!!
