Prayer requests – March 4
Hi everyone,
Some important prayer requests:
1. Preparations for Olds Koinonia Christian School mission trip coming up at the end of March. 30 students and 9 adult leaders are coming to serve the Mexican people with the love of Christ. We have seen God work in and through the students of OKCS 3 times over the past 6 years and are excited for what He wants to do this time! Please pray for: Preparation of ministry locations (people’s hearts, permits for ministry in public areas, logistics), their trip down (by air and bus), the Arbol de Vida church (excitement in teaming with OKCS in ministry, boldness to invite children, youth and adults that need to hear the Gospel) and for us as a team of missionaries as we prepare (peace, wisdom, vision) over the next 3 weeks for a huge eternal impact in Hermosillo!
2. Please pray for many of our church members that are feeling the effects of the economic slowdown in their businesses. There are lots of jobs being lost and there is fear in society. What better time for the hope that Christ offers to be shared! Please pray that this time of change would create a deep dependancy of the church on God and that His promises of providing food and clothing would be seen daily here.
Thank you for standing with us in prayers of thanksgiving, petition and spiritual warefare. Prayer has to be number one on our list of things to do in living a godly life everyday, not the last resort when we’ve tried and failed with our own attempts to do what we should have asked God to do in the first place.
In Christ,
Greg
