Letty

You may remember the name Letty from past letters, or some of you have even met her.  We met Letty 6 years ago through our English conversation ministry, Letty has been faithful to come to church when in Hermosillo, but more on a social level. Due to her struggle with depression she often went to Phoenix to live with her daughter for months at a time.  Letty would return to us sad and discouraged.  I shared biblical truths with her and prayed for her…her answer was usually, “You are religious Shelli, the Bible works for you” .  We continued to pray that Letty would have an intimate moment with God and understand His love. 

Sunday Service prooved to be God’s timing for her.

Letty’s words are, “I don’t know what happened, but it is like a switch got turned on in my heart and head.”  She has been walking around with a permanent smile, attending every prayer meeting, bible study, etc.

Yesterday she stopped by my house and said she wanted to go for coffee.  It was actually a secret plan and she took me to a spontaneous prayer meeting with some ladies in our church, they wanted to pray for me as it seems that in 3 weeks I will be having a major surgery…more on that later.  Anyway, God is so good!!!!!!!
