The Flu

What is up with THE FLU in Hermosillo.  A few concerned people have called or written to know how we are surviving the epidemic here in Mexico.  Well, we have not turned into pigs yet. :)  Though sometimes the way my kids eat could classify them as that.:)

As of yet there are no confirmed cases in Hermosillo, but school has been closed until May 6th, our huge EXPO GAN, which is like the Calgary Stampede has been shut down, and you cannot buy a mask here as they are all sold out.  But beyond that life goes on as normal. 

The other day we went to the movie theater, it was two for one night that usually sees the parking lot full and a spill-out into the streets and the grocery store parking lot.  Well, it seems that we and 4 other couples were the only ones wanting to brave the chances of the flu, at least in our movie theater.
