3rd Annual Burn Camp!
3rd ANNUAL SMILES BURN CAMP IN MEXICO
Shelli and I are headed to Hermosillo to direct the 3rd annual SMILES Burn Camp from October 13-15.
In June 2009, a tragic day-care fire left 49 families dealing with their child’s death and many other families received their child with severe burns. We are excited to be able to continue to minister the love and hope of Jesus into their lives in the coming camp. The first two annual camps saw 20+ young burn victims and their siblings attend and we are hoping for a similar group this year. We also take time to minister to the parents which has been amazing. Please pray for: an atmosphere of joy, hope and healing in Jesus, many volunteers, safety and for our trip down and health. Shelli is the director of the camp and the best friend of many of these kids. She always needs an extra dose of grace and energy to give, give, give in this ministry she loves so much!
