5th Annual SMILES Burn Camp

A whole year has passed since the amazing experience of having our SMILES families in Canada for the 4th SMILES Burn Camp! This year the camp will be held back in beautiful San Carlos, Mexico!
We already have a full camp and a great group of volunteers ready for a super fun and meaningful weekend camp! We are also super excited to have Kechi Okwuchi (see above) as our special guest speaker (through Skype) and trust that God is preparing many ways to reveal His great love to these children and their families.
Prayer requests:
– Please pray for open ears, hearts and eyes to God’s love and His Good news! We pray for the children and their parents could come to faith in Jesus and experience hope, grace and healing!
– Please pray for the logistics of the camp. Shelli and I, as well as 4 other Canadians, are travelling to Mexico for the camp. There are bus rides, outings, lodging, meals and many activities to prepare for.
– Please pray for the provision of funding. We try to make this camp accessible for all the children that we have worked with over the last 10 years. Your generous donations have helped made this possible year after year. Thank you!
