SMILES Burn Camp 2019 Report!

Here is a short video that shows some of the highlights of this year’s Smiles Burn Camp in San Carlos, Mexico!  

A huge thank you to all of you that donated, prayed and even traveled and served with us (Jean, Darlene, Connie and Rebekah!) to make this fifth annual camp happen!  God provided for a safe, fun and meaningful camp once again!   We had an amazing team of volunteers from the Arbol de Vida,  Horizonte and San Carlos Community churches!  Thank you!!!  ¡Gracias a ustedes!!!  There were also many people from San Carlos that helped with special food and by lending kayaks!  Thank you!!!

This year, one of the highlights was a longer excursion than other years in sea kayaks to a place called the “Aquarium”!  Thank the Lord for safety!  

Shelli and I were also blessed by the parents of the kids pitching in and renting the bus for the transportation of the kids as well as going above and beyond in funding for the camp!
